Project Title: Black Swan Scene Redub
Course: Audio Post Production and Sound Design
Role: Recording, Sourcing, Mixing
Year: 2024
Description: For this project, I was tasked to choose a scene from a film and recreate the sound design from scratch. This included recording and sourcing music, foley fx, designed fx, bgfx, and ADR (that's my voice!), as well as putting together the final mix. None of the sounds you hear are from the original film, including the ident. This project was made using Pro Tools and the audio facilities at TMU including the Foley Studio and Multitrack Mixing Studio
Project Title: Radio Time With Benjamin
Course: Live Audio
Role: Writing, SFX Cue
Year: 2024
Description: Radio Time With Benjamin is an audio drama that was recorded live, with a studio audience watching the show from Studio B, and Dante AOIP being utilized to pipe in the sports panelists, who were in the nearby Allan Slaight Radio Institute and record the show to a Pro Tools broadcast mix. This was a team effort, but I contributed by writing the human scripted sections, cueing music and sfx from the ASRI booth, and organizing the show's timing.
Description: For my Radio Broadcasting course, we were tasked with pitching a concept for a radio station. My pitch for a refreshing take on a classical music station was selected to move forward, and together with William Turgeon (who did the imaging) and Linus Kang I designed programming, advertising, and branding for 97.1 CLSC ClassiCOOL!
Description: Using REAPER, I used my recorded voiceover to create a guided sleep-meditation style audio journey across various ambisonic environments. The attached write-up provides in-depth information about each of the techniques used to create this project. Additionally, I was nominated for a TARA award for my voiceover performance in this project!
Project Title: "The Dusties" Chatcast
Course: The Art of Podcasting
Role: Video Sourcing/Digitizing, Co-host
Year: 2025
Description: I was part of a group of 3, tasked with conceptualizing and executing a short chatcast-style podcast about a topic of our choosing. I decided to choose an interesting VHS tape from the university library (Making The Most of MIDI from 1988!) and digitize it. We all watched the tape and discussed it on the podcast, recording in the Allan Slaight Radio Institute. Ophir created the score did the post-production, and I organized the recording session and created the concept.
